Interesting “custom shop” 54 partscaster here. Consists of the following. First a 1989 Homer Haynes Stratocaster neck. This was a 1954 reissue guitar with a gold finish and gold guard. These were limited to 500 and were made in early days of the custom shop.
Second, it has a custom shop 69 loaded pickguard assembly. It’s 3 ply so not exactly correct for 54.
Third, a 1994 ‘54 reissue Stratocaster body in two tone sunburst. This looks to be from the USA 40th anniversary reissue run, but I don’t think it’s a custom shop body. I believe the hardware on the body is from 1994. But the neck plate is a reissue neck plate probably from the Homer Haynes?
The tweed case is definitely from the late 80s and early 90s and came with custom shop stuff during that decade.
Definitely looks and feels like a 54.
