1953 Martin 000-18 - Fully Serviced

For sale is a wonderful-sounding and great-playing 1953 Martin 000-18. This guitar was fully serviced just prior to being listed, including a fresh neck reset, bridge reglue, new hand-cut bone saddle, and full refret. Over $1,500 of professional work has already been done.

The guitar shows normal player wear for an instrument of its age, and for good reason: this is one of the best-sounding 000-18s I have had. It is not a dreadnought, so do not expect it to boom like a D-28, but it has amazing sustain, lovely clarity, and great resonance. It has the dry, woody tone players look for in a vintage Martin.

No cracks or crack repairs. Added strap button.
