1961 Martin 000-18. This guitar has been recently serviced with a fresh neck reset, bridge reglue, hand cut compensated saddle, and professional set up. It is fully serviced and needs nothing.
This model has seen a revival of interest for both players and collectors in the last decade or so. Small-bodied acoustic guitars easily fine their perfect spot in “mix” while playing in the studio or live. They are also more manageable to hold and to play.
It has a Brazilian rosewood, fretboard, bridge, and headstock veneer. The back and sides are mahogany. The top is spruce. The guitar shows signs of moderate playwear on the top and on the back. Thankfully, neither the top nor the back have any cracks or crack repairs. The same is true of the neck. However, there are a couple side cracks that were repaired long ago on the side near the lower strap button as seen in the photos. The tuners have been changed.
