A well loved and great sounding 1946 Gibson LG-2. This is the transitional “script logo” version just after the end of World War II and the transition to the modern Gibson logo.

This guitar has recently been serviced with some crack repairs and a Bridge re-glue. Many of the braces had to be re-glued. A couple had to be replaced. Many of the braces had to be re-glued. A couple had to be replaced. There was a center seam separation on the top that has been addressed. The guitar has not had a neck reset but the action and playability are very good in its current set up. It has a homemade replaced truss rod cover.
The guitar has tons of wear from lots of use and for good reason. there is heavy finish checking and some chipping in areas. The finish is currently stable. It sounds amazing!
comes in a 1960s Gibson chip board case. Will be packed carefully.
