1995 made in Japan Fender Telecaster. The model is called a TL–52. The letters “DGF“ are also stamped on the Guitar body and on the neck. I do not know what this means. Technically TL-52 means that means this is a 52 reissue. But it clearly doesn’t have 1952 blackguard specs. It would be more accurate to call it a 56–57 reissue since it has the white guard, slightly lighter finish, steel saddles, and Patent Pending bridge. Perhaps we could call it a 55 based on some specs. But since it has a medium soft V profile I think 56–57 is more accurate. It’s a medium, chunky neck, not a huge boat neck.

At any rate, this is a wonderful guitar. It’s lightweight. Plays very nice. Has all the characteristics of superb Japanese craftsmanship, which is now well known. I wouldn’t hesitate to give this an “very good“ condition designation. It does have one ding on the back on the edge along with some scratches and wear to the pick guard.
