1984 Fender Fullerton ’62 Reissue Stratocaster. Rare custom color black finish!
This guitar comes with the original case you see in the photos. It includes the Fullerton era manual, saddle cover, Tremelo bar, spring pouch, and switch pouch.
It has 1982 pots, a low serial number, original parts and finish. It has a clear 1984 neck date clearly placing it in the “Fullerton” era. A five-way switch has been installed, but the original 3-way switch is in the case. These came with optional five way switches so both are technically “factory” although “Out of the they had the classic 3-way.
Cosmetically, this guitar is in very good vintage condition. There is some scratches and player wear to the finish. There is a little fret wear, but nothing too terrible.
It has an original early 1980s tweed case with the distinctive “duck foot“ tab. The case is not original to this guitar, but is you correct for the early 1980s Fullerton reissues.
The guitar plays and sounds great and is currently getting a pro set up to perfect everything.
