Very cool vintage Stratocaster from the late CBS era. The parts date from 1979 and 1980. Given that we date guitars by the latest date on any part, we will call it a 1980. Cosmetically it’s in very good condition. It has some marks from use. Some finish checking, some fairly minor fret wear on the first couple frets. For the most part, it’s pretty clean and a nicer shape than most Stratocasters from this era.
The guitar sounds and plays nice. Only change is to the middle pickup, which was swapped out with a Seymour Duncan fairly early and its life. The middle pick up has a 1984 date on it.
Comes in the original form fit case fender started to use around this time. Includes Tremolo bar with black tip.
