  • Neck: Comfortable medium-C profile (nowhere near a baseball bat).
  • Weight: 10 lbs.
  • Dating: Hardware and components span the late ’70s into early ’80s. The serial number places it in early 1980—about the 88th guitar stamped that year.
  • Electronics: The bridge pickup was swapped out in the past, but the original pickup (found in the case) has been reinstalled; minor solder touch-up is visible. Everything else remains factory-original.
  • Playability & Tone: Classic Custom bite with plenty of sustain—plays and sounds exactly like a great vintage Gibson should.
  • Case: Original “protector” chainsaw case included. Only one latch is functional but it does the job fine; I’ll tape it securely for shipping.
