Player grade. And it is a great player! Very nice neck and excellent play ability. Sounds killer.
Stripped finish. It’s been professionally refretted, which is a big plus. Pickups look right for the era with clear plastic tops, but I think the base plate on the neck pick up has been changed. Guard is original, but has a thin sliver that has been cut out for a slightly wider back up. Original pots. Knobs have been changed. Tremolo Tailpiece is a reproduction. Obviously the wrap tail has been changed, but it does intonate properly. The serial number is only partially readable. Pots date the guitar to 1969. A couple different sets of tuners have been on here at different times. Current set are repros. Bridge pick up cover is original. Neck pickup cover looks to be a reproduction. Bass side of the neck joint may have had a heel repair. Pickups are out of phase in middle position.
