Up for sale is this lovely 1963 Gibson ES-330 in original Cherry Red finish.
Straight from the golden age of Gisbon production, this guitar has plenty to offer the player and collector alike. It sports the wider and more desirable 1 and 11/16th inch nut width, nickel parts, and lovely finish. The electronics are original including the original pickups and wiring harness (original sprague caps are still intact! The neck profile is the thicker medium shape you see in 63-64 after the razor/blade necks of 60-62. Cosmetically it is in very good vintage condition with its share of player wear in the form of scuffs, dings, marks, etc. Not a mint guitar but still quite lovely--one you won't be afraid to play! The guitar has been given a professional refret in vintage style wire so it plays very nicely. The bass side binding has been repaired from the nut to about the first side dot marker. A strap button was at one time installed on the side of the heel but this has been filled. There are some marks on the body. The bridge has been upgraded to what I think it is a nickel tonepros with metal saddles, which arguably provides for better sustain than the nylon. It comes housed in an aftermarket case. Will be packed carefully.
