For sale is this wonderful player grade 1960 Fender Stratocaster.

It has recently been given a pro refret and set up.  It plays and sounds fabulous.

This one has a refinish, probably from the 80s or 90s if I were to guess. It has the original body and neck, one original pot, an original set of black bobbin Pre-CBS pickups, although two of them had to be rewound.  The other has the original windings, but needed a coil repair.  The neck plate is also original.

This one has a very nice neck profile.  Sometimes it can get kind of thin. This one is definitely a chunky medium.  It has a lovely slab board Brazilian rosewood fretboard. Have a guitar has just been re-fretted with vintage style wire that is slightly taller for a better playability.

Although the core components of the guitar are vintage/original, it does have some replaced parts. But right now it has reproduction tuners. the plastics on the guitar right now are reproductions. The bridge is from a custom shop relic Stratocaster, so it definitely looks proper, has the right, call patent, pending” style saddles. But the tremolo block is stamped “CS” for custom shop.  Unfortunately, the body date was lost in the refinish if it ever had one.  The neck date is also illegible and lost in the refinish, but you can see the remnants of the pencil.  You can’t make out the date but can see the right pencil marking. Both the body and neck show the proper factory markings and there’s no doubt about their originality. You can see the dowel holes on the back in the proper places, and where the original nail holes were. The plastics are reproduction. There is an added “notch” on one side of the control cavity, perhaps to accommodate a slightly wider switch that was on the guitar at one time. There are extra pickguard screw holes as can be clearly seen in the photos. All this is obviously under the guard and can’t be seen. See photos for more details as they are part of the description.

1960 Stratocasters in original condition are priced upwards of $40,000 nowadays. Here’s your chance to get a player grade example with key original components.

I do not know who did the refinish work. The color on the Burst is very close to what you see in this year. I don’t think it’s nitro.

Comes in the Reissue Stratocaster case you see in the listing.  It does not come with a vintage case or any other accessories

I am happy to ship worldwide. The guitar will be shipped with the proper customs paperwork and classified as a “used electric guitar.” I will not under any circumstances declare a lower value than the purchase price. That would constitute customs fraud so please don’t ask me to do that.
