Refinished in TV yellow. Nice fat neck with chunky profile. It shows no signs of cracks, breaks, or crack repairs.
Plays and sounds killer
It’s had a refinish so that obviously puts it in the player grade range. The refinish is decent and you can still see some woodgrain through the semi transparent finish.
The serial was lost in the refinish, but it shows all the proper marks and signs of being a 1956. The fact the original wiring harness and other parts are still intact here is proof enough of that.
It’s also been professionally refretted.
Original pots and wiring harness. Bumblebee caps and side-dated pots. I think this is a music city bridge which will properly intonate. Bridge posts are original. Pickup covers look original. Knobs, guard, and back plates are reproductions. Strap buttons are original. Jack plate looks original as well. Bridge pick up is original. Neck pick up looks to be rebuilt probably with a rewind and a new base plate. Pole pieces look original as does the top and the magnets. Tuners and truss rod cover replaced.
A really killer player grade piece about half the price of an original.
Lots of valuable parts on here and the husk itself is not without a good chunk of value as well.
Ships in a more recent Epiphone branded case.
